Life Style Modification
Lifestyle modification involves some changes in a person’s daily routine, habits,
social skills, life skills, etc. It is also helpful in rehabilitation. For e.g. In some physical
illness such as overweight, Diabetes, we need to shape, modify or change our
routine, eating habits, exercise pattern. It is applicable for mental illness also. For
e.g. In depressive disorders, the patient needs a start to live a better life as a way of recovery and life style modification works as a source of motivation, support and guidance in this journey. patient need to start his/her life after illness recovery but he/she
needs motivation, support, and guidance. Life style modification plays an important
role to help the patient to rebuild his mental and physical as well as social health.
